Prof Darshan Singh Ragi was invited by JUS Punjabi TV Channel to clarify his position on the blasphemous remarks he made on the life of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib.

While peforming at Rochester Gurdwara Controversial ragi Darshan Singh narrated a fictitious story denigrating the life and personality of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib.
Darshan Singh said "Guru Sahib went to a 'Veshya' (prostitute) and the prostitute tried to lure him. Guru Sahib thought if he establishes relationship with her then the one who will be born out of that relationship will be a 'Bharua' (pimp) and if he doesnt establish a relationship then she will get him beat-up by the public by shouting 'thief thief'....Guru Sahib leaves his slippers and robe and starts running. He is caught by the public who starts beating him up. Someone gets hold of Guru Sahib's beard and someone removes his turban and starts hurling slippers on Guru Sahib's head"
He claimed that the story is from Charitropakhyan bani of Sri Dasam Granth. However no such narration with the name of Guru Sahib appears in Charitropakhyan.
Darshan Singh also used derogatory words such as 'Vesva' (prostitute) and 'Bharua' (pimp) which appear nowhere in the text.
The Sikh community strongly objected to his controversial remarks and Akal Takhat Sahib was requested to summon him.
It is not for the first time that the Ragi has surrounded himself in controversy. Earlier too he had casted aspersions on the Nitnem and Amrit Banees

Few facts must be kept in mind:
This ragi is trying to manipulate the circumstances to effect the minds of innocent Sikhs in his favour. This ragi is very worried about Satkar of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. How come he never bothered about the disrespect that was hurled upon Our religion by anmatiaas such as Sarsa Vala Saadh, Bhaniara, and recently Ashutosh and his followers?The fact is that this man is mischieveous and paid abundantly heavy cash by communist minded people who have infiltrated into Sikhi after failing miserably in their adopted line of thought. It is so joyful to them to start putting fuel on fire by inciting emotions of the faithfuls. Why does ragi wants to question Nitneim banis? Does he not know that a Sikh cannot be calleda Sikh unless he/she adopt Amrit of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and that Amrit of Guru Gobind Singh dictates and nakes it mandatory for all Sikhs to recite has Sri Dasam Bani at both occasions: Morning and Evening.
Second point is that when all Sikhs pay respect to everything that is associated with Guru Sahib e.g. their dresses, shoes, weapons, places of birth , trees under which they sat or rested, the waters they touched, then why should they not pay absolute respect for the book (Dasam Granth) where Guru Gobind Singh ji's Bani is resident? (Jithey jaey bahaey mera satguru so thaan suhawa ramrajay..)
This fellow is talking about Brahmanwad and Hinduism etc with poisonous and hate filled words to wards Dasam Granth, and doing parallel parkash with Guru Granth Sahib. First of all, he must tell us how many Sikhs became Hindu by paying respecting and reading Sri Dasam bani in last about 310 years since Guru Gobind Singh ji's amrit? Whereas we notice pages of Sikh history filled with valour of Khalsa only because of their unflinching commitment to Sri Dasam Patshah and his amrit as it represents the culmination of the total Sikh thought. Moreover, where does Sikhi teach to hate Hindus and Brahmins??
Ragi and his pack are talking about viles of momen and he uses filthy words to interpret one of the Chritters by involving Guru Sahib in derogatory role. This is twisting of facts. The fact of the matter is that through Chritters, Guru Sahib display the character of a
person who is committed to higher ideals. Who remain steadfast in times of crises. One who maintains Dheeraj, equipose. Just in line with Zat paharaa dheeraj suniyaar of Guru Nanak Sahib. Unmoved by flashy attractions of senses or vasnaas/impressions. Just as guru Nanak Sahib remained steadfast while the Raja of Sangladeep tried to send beautiful seducing ladies in the garden where Guru Nanak Sahib were camping. Guru Sahib addressed those ladies as: Gasho putree raj kuaar. Naam bhano sach dot swaar...Come my daughters, sing the Naam of Waheguru and cleanse yourself....Exactly that Guru Gobind Singh ji teaches in Chritters. But stupid ragi has leased his Aqal to the crows. He has gone crazy, and does not feel shame that he grinningly and shamefully says that Guru Sahib's beard was pulled by a crowed for entering house of a prostitute. This idiot needs to be told point blank that he has abandoned Sikhi Rehat Maryada by his words and actions.Further, it is important to investigate this ragi's complete life. Birth to now. He is a shady character all the way. He tells lies on iternet that he never demanded fees for his Kirtan bookings. While living people will tell us that this guy had been charging heavy fees for his Kirtan. Even that is fine. But the fellow sings Dasam Bani and swells his cassettes and now becomesa turn-coat overnight because someone offered bigger purse to fill his already bloated Dhidh. This Dhidal guy pushed his mother out of his house and she died after struggling and living an abandoned life at Sri Nanaksar Thaath near Hagraon. Sangat should know that his mother used to call him: Aurangzeb with hate. He secured curse of his mother like that. What does it tell us? While he and his brothers used to fight in streets of Dhanbaad, people could see this guy's real face.
This "Aurangzeb of his mother", infact is an established alcoholic. He tried to forcibly occupy (Dabb) kothi of a Judge in Kurali. He came to Canada in 1979 and drank Whiskey in parties openly and told the youth that "It is ok to drink but do not cut your Kes". Sangat should go deep to check his background to ascertain the facts about his history. I can go on writing but will stop here. His real name must be roadcasted as: Darshan Lal, Aurangzeb of his mother.

I read all of your comments. Thanks to all of you for posting your opinion. I am so angry that i personally feel like dragging this Darshan Singh out of his house and making him admit that he made a mistake and until his last breath he will never speak anything against our Guru Saheban ji. I am frustrated with our Indian Government that they are letting him get away with it. I pray to Waheguru ji that one day sombebody will just do the same what they did with Indira Gandhi and any body else who came to chanllenge the unity of Sikhs and the teachings of our Gurus

Waheguru Ji ki FatehI am narrating before you my first hand interaction with Ragi D Singh, this incident dates back about one and a half year back, when Ragi was in chandigarh to do kirtan at Ramgarhia Bhawan sector 27 Chandigarh, and he sang the shabad about dujee bhav meaning those who abandon the path shown by the Guru and tread the second path face the obstacles etc, after the kirtan one of my friends asked him to spare time for interaction, Ragi told that he was going to the house of Rajinder Singh of Khalsa Panchayat and that he should come to that place for interaction , though I was inclined to be face to face with Ragi but on the insistence of my friend I went along with him to the residence of Khalsa Panchayat president , by the time we reached that place Ragi was having dinner with his friends at that place and his plate was full of goat meat , we sat apart and waited for Ragi to finish his meals , he joined us and soon all his companions also came and sat with us, my friend asked Ragi ji to explain the meaning of Duja Bhav but Ragi being crafty enough inquired from my friend the basis of his question , in what context was the question being asked but my friend was feeling shy to tell him the reason for asking this question and both of them spent some time in this interaction with out any progress ultimately to get past the deadlock I intervened and told Ragi ji that my friend did not have the courage to offend you ,the basis of his reasoning is to ask from you whether the stones worn by you in your fingers come in the Guru Ka Bhaw or Duja Bhaw ,to this their was commotion in the room and all his well-wishers in the room were shell shocked after some time the Ragi replied that these stones were worn by him to cure his diseases , again there was chaos in the room with my fried inquiring which doctor advised him this cure ,I sarcastically asked Ragi whether these stone were got known to him through the parrot or he went to some panda to get his teewa made , Ragi was also loosing his cool by now and he said that even Guru Gobind Singh ji wore Jewelry ,to this I asked Ragi that while he was the Jathedar at Siri Akal Takhat Sahib can he recount the number of innocent villagers whom he asked to remove their worldly Jewelry and put the Kakars prescribed the Guru and can he give them a message that Sikhs can adorn any kind of ornaments , there was melee all around his supporter asked us not to let this episode go into the press we also asked them that hurting Ragi is not our aim but they should ensure that Ragi removes all these stones, to which they assured us ,and this is the first time I am disclosing this incident to let the Sikh masses judge who is who in Sikh affairs

nowhere in this bani does this story occur . So no one should ever dare to build up concocted stories and bring such disgrace upon a Guru revered by millions of Sikhs

This darshan will never learn, even though he had his dead kicked in few times and very recently in Calkuta bengal. He thought sikhs are helpless in bengal and no one will say anything to him, but guess what HE GOT BATTERED.HE DESERVE'S IT.

What Darshan Singh ji said, does this not fit into the Hindi translation of Dasam Granth of Dr. Jodh Singh. Instead of king, replace the character with Guru Sahib as said by Dr. Harbhajan Singh in his book.

Darshan Ragi said many things attacking personality of Guru Gobind singh ji.These things are not found in charitras 21,22 and 23. His followers are blinded by their love for darshan ragi.
Darshan ragi is a rogue character who has no knowledge what is written in Dasam Granth. he is doing propaganda at behest of anti sikh forces.
Not only that he is also speaking language of agencies like a parrot.His latest attack is on Mata sundri ji and tat khalsa.There is no sikh hsitory withouit tat khalsa.
























No body should refer to Darshan Ragi as Prof. He never was a professor at any college or university because he has no university education whatsoever.
Emotionally hurt Sikh community made him Sri Akal Takhat Jathedar because he used to sing Shabads with emotionally touching remarks for Guru Sahib. Infact he was just a money-hungary ragi who would exploit Sikh emotions to churn more money for himself. His schooling is almost nil because he took to singing profession with aim to get his livelihood and never attended any higher educational institution.
This fellow has an OUM tatoo on back of his hand whivh he tried to deface but it still shows up. He has no calmness in his singing style that is first requirement of Gurbani Kirtan. He pushes on his vocal cords almost screaming, and displays cunning and fake smile. He has polluted the pure Kirtan traditions by combining his shallowc and far fetched explanations of Gurbani. This chap is a true example of a real ingratitude. From the very plate he has been eating food up till now, he is spitting into it without any shame. This pot bellied fellow is guilty of betrayal of Sikh religion. For his blasphemous utterings, he must receive divine retribution of Khalsa Panth. After all the Bhathra has shown his real face of deception and greed. His tradtional Khalsa sentence should be to blacken his face, place a garland of shoes in his neck, and ride a donkey through streets of Sri Amritsar Sahib.
This fellow belongs to that category of people whom Guru RamDass ji refer as:
Guru Babey fittkey se fittey, Guru Angad keetay koodyarey...
